Melanie Beltran - Hospital Manager
Melanie graduated with an Associates of Arts degree in 2001. She continued her education and received a Bachelors of Arts in History at the University of St.Thomas. She is currently pursuing a Master's in Business Administration at Our Lady of the Lake University. Prior to joining Longwood Animal Hospital Melanie was a practice manager in numerous healthcare specialties near the Texas Medical Center for nine years. She enjoys spending time with her husband Aaron and her three dogs Ace, Lilly, and Lucy.

Oreo - Hospital Administrator
Oreo joined Longwood Animal Hospital in 2000 as a Hospital Greeter. She quickly excelled in this position and eventually took on the role as Hospital Administrator. Oreo plays a crucial role in hiring, supervising, and dust bunny control. In her spare time she enjoys laying on charts, blocking the computer monitor, eating paper, and sunning in the hospital windows.

Bonnie Acosta-Schmeisser
Bonnie has an associate's degree from Blinn College in Animal Science. She then furthered her education at Sam Houston State University and earned her Bachelor's degree in Arts and Science Pre-Veterinary medicine with a minor in Animal Science. She hopes to continue her education and complete Graduate School. Bonnie has been a veterinary technician for ten years, and started working at Longwood in February 2010. She has dachshunds: Pepper, Peanut, Bella, Ginger, and a lab Nala. A prairie dog named Theodore, and a Green Amazon parrot named Sprite who loves to sing in the morning. She enjoys spending time with her husband Brian and her pets.

Jacinda A. Melendez
Jacinda graduated with an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology from Tomball College. Jacinda has been a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) for 9 years and started working at Longwood in April 2011. She has three Manx cats, Greyson, Chloe, Samantha and two rescue cats, Mr. Chivers and Tabitha. She enjoys traveling with her husband Thomas and spoiling their kitties.

Ryan Smith
Ryan has a great passion for animals. He brings over nine years of experience with animals to Longwood. His background includes working as a technician for over a year and as an assistant manager for a pet resort. Ryan enjoys his new puppy, a “Can Corso Mastiff” named Gracee and spending time with his Fiance Savannah.

Skye Greene
Skye has been a Veterinary Technician since 1997 working several years in emergency / critical care. She is pursuing a Registered Veterinary Technician degree while working at Longwood Animal Hospital. She has an Associate of Arts in Interior Design. Skye is excited about the veterinary industry and learning new procedures. Skye is committed to providing compassion to pets and their owners. She has three children, five dogs, three cats, a horse, and a hamster. In her free time she enjoys going to Cypress Creek throwing darts and singing karaoke.

Ron Dean - Managing Kennel Attendant
Ron began working at Longwood in May 2003. He is one of our Senior Kennel Assistants. He works very closely with our groomer and assists with all of the bathing. Ron has a cat named Shadow.

Erin Mills
Erin has worked at Longwood since March 2009. She looks forward to graduating in May, and continuing her education at the local community college. She has two cats named Anthony and Marmey. Erin spends her free time with friends and enjoys reading books.

Kristi Schultz
Kristi began working at Longwood in November of 2009. Although she is new to the veterinary field, she has been in customer service for several years. Kristi lives in Cypress with her husband, Nathan and her furry friends. She has a German Shorthaired Pointer, Tex and a Miniature Dachshund named Bella and a cat, Cleo.

Ashley Simmons
Ashley lives in Waller with her fiancé Kenny and her bulldog Duke. In her spare time she enjoys catching sun rays and soaking up the sun. She also enjoys fishing with her two favorite boys. Although she is new to the Veterinary field, she is enthusiastic about all the administrative duties she is learning.
