Dr. Bethany Smith, DVM
Dr. Bethany Smith is a Cypress native, who joined Longwood Animal Hospital in June 2006. Dr. Smith received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas A&M University in 2002. She went on to complete a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Texas A&M University in May 2005. Dr. Smith and her husband, Christopher have two baby girls. They share their home with 2 cats, Riesling and Chaz. Outside of the practice, Dr. Smith is actively involved in her church, loves to travel and enjoys Aggie football.
Dr. J.T. Gasson, DVM - Associate DVM
Dr. J.T. Gasson grew up in The Woodlands, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in August 2002. He remained at Texas A&M where he received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in May 2006. After graduation, he practiced in Scottsdale, Arizona for 3+ years before deciding to return home to Texas. He joined Longwood Animal Hospital in December 2009. Dr. Gasson resides in Cypress with his wife, Melanie, and their two Labs, Abby and Max. They are expecting their first child in May. Away from the office, Dr. Gasson enjoys watching Aggie sports, especially Aggie football, and playing golf.
Dr Li Joyce, Associate DVM
Dr. Joyce Li was born and raised in Houston, TX. She graduated high school in Chicago, IL, before earning her Bachelor of Arts in Biologic Sciences, from Rice University in 2005. She recently graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2011. Dr. Li has three cats, Faye, Vicious and Pudge. She recently rescued a 3 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, named Rhodie, with her fiancé, Trent. She will be married in October 2011. Her interests outside of work include cooking, knitting, art, and Aeros hockey.
