Oreo/Hospital Administrator:
Oreo joined Longwood Animal Hospital in 2000 as a Hospital Greeter. She quickly excelled in this position and eventually took on the role as Hospital Administrator. Oreo plays a crucial role in hiring, supervising, and dust bunny control. In her spare time she enjoys laying on charts, blocking the computer monitor, eating paper, and sunning in the hospital windows.
Melanie Beltran, Office Manager:
Melanie graduated with an Associates of Arts degree in 2001. She continued her education and recieved a Bachelors of Arts in History at the University of St.Thomas. She is currently pursuing a Master's in Administration at the Cameron School of Business at The University of St. Thomas. Prior to joining Longwood Animal Hospital Melanie was a practice manager in numerous healthcare specialties near the Texas Medical Center for nine years. She enjoys spending time with her fiance Aaron and looks forward to getting married in April 2010. Melanie shares her free time with her two dogs Lilly and Lucy.
Denea Dailey, RVT:
Denea began working at Longwood Animal Hospital in December 2003. She graduated with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology from Tomball College in 2000. She spends all of her free time with her husband, Tyson, and their daughter, Piper. She also has one furry child, Marcus, a cat.
Andrea Baetge, RVT/Technician:
Andrea graduated from Tomball College with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology in 2002. She began working at Longwood Animal Hospital in February of 2003. Andrea has three dogs - Mercedes, a Great Dane, Barron, a Great Pyrenees, and Dallas, a Pomeranian. She also has two horses - Matador, a Shire, Trevor, a Miniature, and one cat - Saige, a Siamese. She spends most of her time relaxing at home in Magnolia with all of her furry friends. She also enjoys riding horses and used to teach horseback riding before entering the Veterinary field.
Melissa Bolin/Technician:
Melissa is originally from Oklahoma but moved to Houston in 1998. She began working at Longwood Animal Hospital in January 2004. She was initially hired as a Kennel Assistant but quickly moved up to a Veterinary Technician. Melissa has one dog, Limerick, and three cats, Wes, Paradox, and Tasha. Melissa is our resident foster mom for abandoned kittens. She has successfully raised countless kittens over the years, all of which have been adopted out to happy homes.
Beth Piotrowski/Technician:
Beth moved here with her family from London, England in 2001. She began working at Longwood Animal Hospital in August 2005. She was originally hired as a Kennel Assistant. Soon after starting her job she realized that she wanted to pursue a career in Veterinary Medicine. She quickly moved out of the Kennel and into the role of a Veterinary Technician. Beth is currently attending Tomball College where she plans to graduate in May 2009 with her degree in Veterinary Technology. In her spare time she enjoys running and spending time with her cat, Zipper, and her rescue Pomeranian, Ethel.
Lisa Milsop/Technician:
Lisa began working at Longwood Animal Hospital in December of 2008. She has over 10 years experience in the veterinary feild. She has worked as a receptionist and a technician. Lisa also worked for an orthopedic specialist for dogs and cats. She has 3 dogs- Diesel a pit bull, Kita a pit bull, and Zoe Cha-Cha a rescued meixed breed. Lisa currently attends Lonestar Cyfair. Her plan is to get into the RVT program at Lonestar Tomball. She likes to spend her free time with Chris, her husband and her son Korben.
Aly Schlain/ Technician:
Aly began working at Longwood in the summer of 2008. She started out in the kennel, then transfered to recceptionist. She worked at the front desk for onlly a short time before becoming a technician. She currently attends Lonestar College and plans on transfering to A&M University. Aly has two little ones, a cat named Sophie and a dog named Lily.
Kristi/ Receptionist:
Kristi began working at Longwood in November of 2009. Although she is new to the veterinary field, she has been in customer service for several years. Kristi lives in Cypress with her Fiance, Nathan and her furry friends. She has two German Shorthaired Pointers, Tex and Dixie, a Miniature Dachshund named Bella and a cat, Cleo.
Kathryne Andreo/Receptionist:
Kathryne Joined Longwwod in February of 2009. She was active in FFA all four years of High School. After graduating from Cy- Woods High School in 2009. She now is enrolled at Lonestar College. Her plan is to eventually transfer to A&M. Kathryne is longing for a place of her own, so she can have a furry-legged friend.
Ron Dean/Kennel Assistant:
Ron began working at Longwood in May 2003. He is one of our Senior Kennel Assistants. He works very closely with our groomer and assists with all of the bathing. Ron has a cat named Shadow.
Erin began working at Longwood in December of 2009. She currently attends Cypress Woods High School as a junior. After high school she plans on attending Lonestar College and then a University.Erin has a cat named Anthony.
